A new light is shining through the doorway of Crystal Chrysalis Haus.
The Haus has gradually taken form as the new home of the Crystal Chrysalis Collection—an Estate of rooms, pathways, curiosities and carefully gathered treasures, all shaped around the work and spirit that began with Crystal Chrysalis in 2010.
It is a lovely and slightly surreal moment to see what was once only an idea now standing with its doors ready to open.
Before I had welcome everyone across the threshold, I wanted to complete one final walk-through of the Estate. There are more treasures to place upon the shelves, a few details that were still deserving my attention and every pathway, page and link has been checked from the perspective of someone visiting for the first time.
Crystal Chrysalis has never been something I wished to move abruptly or without care. Its history, its creations and the people who have supported it over the years deserve a thoughtful transition. I want this new home to feel familiar in spirit, even as it offers much more room to wander through and discover.
Those who have found their way to the Haus before the formal announcement were, of course, are welcomed to explore with open arms.
Visitors may now follow the full "Estate Directory" under "Categories" on the estate menu home page, or simply wander according to curiosity. Not every path is immediately obvious; a few links have been tucked into the Estate for those who enjoy looking a little more closely and discovering where an unexpected door may lead.
If you visited during this quiet period before the official opening, I would be grateful to hear about your experience. A fresh pair of eyes can notice things that become invisible to the person who has spent so many hours arranging every room.
